Tiliva Resort is on the unspoilt island of Kadavu. It is set in its own private bay with a lovely sandy beach. With magnificent views
across the bay to the island of Ono, one of the best attractions is that it is less than ten minutes from the Astrolabe Reef - when at low tide
you can hear the thunder of the reef. Tiliva is Fijian owned and operated with friendly staff from Tiliva Village all keen to make your
stay as memorable as possible – 'arrive as a guest and leave as a friend'.
The resort is set in 18 acres of lush tropical gardens, has six deluxe bures all with wonderful ocean views, full ensuite facilities,
ceiling fans, private verandas and 24-hour electricity. Nestled in the trees for privacy, do not be surprised if you do hear the Kadavu parrot
calling you early in the morning. There is one beachfront honeymoon bure with a 360-degree private veranda for those wanting something extra
special. The other bures are either twin, double or triple. All have ocean views and are just a hairs breath away from the resort's beach.
All the bures are fully screened, meaning all the windows and doors can be left open to enable you to enjoy the welcoming light sea breeze.
The resort has a fully stocked bar and excellent restaurant. You can enjoy breakfast and lunch on the veranda overlooking the gardens.
Dinner is in the dining room or a private dinner can be arranged on the veranda of your bure. Boxed lunches are available for day trips.
Local dishes and seafood are the pride of the menu together with
some very good western dishes. Dietary requirements can be catered for, but
please let your consultant know in advance. Tiliva Resort offers the very best of local and western cuisine. If you wish, you can help with the
preparation of the lovo - which is a weekly event that should not be missed!
Only fresh fruit, vegetables and fish are used in the resort kitchen. Many of the fruit, vegetables and herbs are grown in the resort gardens
with extra supplies supplemented from the village.
Apart from the fantastic diving on the Astrolabe Reef Tiliva Resort offers:
- Snorkelling on the house Reef

DIVING
For more than four divers the 28ft. Islander comfortably holds 12 divers, captain and dive masters. It has a 150hp engine with a 30hp auxiliary.
For smaller groups there are the 23ft. fibre boats - all have easy access overboard and ladders for return.
The boat starts loading at 8.45 a.m. After a two tank dive with an interval on a beach the boat arrives back in time for lunch and a lazy afternoon.
