Sonaisali Island Resort is a true island escape, a small green dot in the beautiful South Pacific Ocean – yet the world you’ve left behind is only a three-minute boat ride across the lagoon from the main island. On Sonaisali, if you’re doing nothing it's because you want it that way!
Sonaisali Island Resort is situated on its own private island, just 300m off the mainland of Viti Levu. Sonaisali is a 25 minute transfer from Nadi International Airport by vehicle to Sonaisali marina then a 2 minute boat launch to the island.
There are 32 Beachfront Hotel rooms, each with a private balcony overlooking the ocean and 78 traditional Fijian thatched Bures. All bures host spectacular unobstructed views from wide verandahs, some with Spas. All accommodation has DVD and satellite TV.
Restaurants - The Sunset Terrace is open all day for casual dining and offers guests, alfresco menu that is available all day including light snacks and a variety of beverages. Full American buffet breakfast is served daily. Happy hour each day between 6pm and 7pm. 24 hour Room Service also available.
Plantation Restaurant - The resort’s signature restaurant offers a beautiful fine dining option for guests.
Bars - The Sunset Bar, Pool bar, Tale Bar and the new Zero Bar.
Activities – A huge variety of activities are available, including Scuba diving, Horse riding, Sunset Cruise, Kids Club, Deep Sea Fishing, Jet skiing and Paintball. Business Centre, Boutique and Rosies tour desk for access to the mainland abd cultural attractions, along with car hire.
The Frangipani Health and Beauty Salon offers Massages, Facial Treatments, manicures, pedicures, waxing and makeup.
Wedding Packages: A unique and memorable wedding ceremony can be arranged.The service, conducted by a Fijian Minister or Marriage Celebrant is legally binding. Photographer, flowers, bouquet, candlelit dinner and cake are included in a variety of inexpensive, romantic wedding packages. Weddings are staged on the beachfront at sunset or at any other preferred time or location on the island. The bride arrives by longboat decorated with palm leaves and flowers, to be carried ashore on a wedding chair by her Fijian warrior escorts.
