Kavieng offers some truly remarkable diving, all within one degree south of the equator and between the open South Pacific Ocean and Bismarck Sea, creating an underwater wonderland. Kavieng has a huge variety of marine life, fantastic pristine coral gardens and many tropical fish, as well as the plane and ship wrecks within easy diving depth.
Nusa Island Retreat

Nusa is a traditionally styled facility making it low impact and eco-sensitive. Located only a couple of minutes boat ride from town, it is situated on a white sandy point offering safe sheltered swimming and encompassing Harbour views. Nusa is perfectly positioned in being convenient to the facilities of town yet far enough to be a world away.
Accommodation is in the form of traditionally styled bungalows, most set along the waters edge, and a couple positioned over-water. There are 11 rooms in total, so a small facility with personalized service & attention to guestsBungalows are set on the water’s edge and have great views. All rooms have lights and are fan cooled.

A tiny private island with a palm-fringed sandy beach, surrounded by some of the world’s best coral reefs, is in traditional bungalows set in beautifully landscaped gardens with some of the most magnificent sunsets. The Resort is located only 2 degrees south of the Equator, ensuring year-round fantastic diving conditions in balmy water.

Lissenung has Seven ocean-front rooms (Six with private facilities) in 4 spread-out duplex bungalows, furnished with hardwood floors and spacious verandahs. There are more than 40 dive sites; from walls, drift dives, coral gardens and wrecks to muck diving; from pygmy seahorse to silvertip sharks and eagle rays; from 15 – 45 minutes by boat from the resort. Water temperature never less than 28°Celsius. Shore dives here are complimentary.
