On arrival in the capital Honiara, you will be greeted by friendly Tulagi Dive staff who will transport you to Tulagi on their modern dive boat. Vuselela, a 7.5 metre Orca, departs Honiara Yacht Club and takes approximately 60 minutes crossing the famous Iron Bottom Sound to reach Tulagi wharf. This ride can be bumpy and wet.
Once there Tulagi Dive’s professional dive team, consisting of over 40 years combined experience, will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable dive adventure that will have your dive buddies back home green with envy. They operate a 7.5mtr dive boat ideally suited for divers demanding a stable platform for the deeper wreck dives. The majortiy of dives are only minutes away from the wharf, in front of the lodge. Nitrox and limited mixed gas faciltieis are available for the technical and more experienced diver.
DIVE BOATS
Vuselela: 7.5m Orca aluminium ridged pontoon it is our main craft, it will service up to 14 recreational or 10 technical divers. Has a ¾ canopy to ward off the sun and two egress ladders at the rear of the boat.
Biepha: 6m GRP run about, will service 5 recreational or 3 technical divers. Egress ladder fitted.
Ray Boat: 6m fibreglass type canoe, used for picnic runs, will also service 6 recreational divers.
