Dive Fish Snow Travel (established in 1986) is a solid and reputable company specializing in sending New Zealand and Australian Snow Enthusiasts to Canada, USA and Japan on awesome skiing/Riding holidays, and diving and fishing holidays to the South Pacific and beyond. We have a well-established and loyal clientele to service while introducing new clients to our services and specialist holidays.
We are growing and using the power of the web and on-line marketing. Due to the success of international marketing of our website, we are now in expansion mode and require 3 new team members for our North Shore (Auckland) office.
1. Senior Travel Consultant
If you are passionate about your Skiing/Riding, or diving, and enjoy selling holidays then this is your opportunity to advance your career and lifestyle.
You will be building your client itineraries from A - Z, making for rewarding and varied job satisfaction.
The experience you will need:
- Proven and solid sales record with minimum 5 years in Retail Travel sales.
- A good working knowledge of Canada, USA, and Japan or of South Pacific dive destinations.
- Amadeus Trained: Training can be provided for other CRS users.
- Proficient in Travelog/Serko or similar
- A sense of humour to work with a fun yet professional team in a casual office environment, that is results and productivity driven.
- Excellent command of the English language, good communication skills and phone manner.
- Attention to detail and good maths skills
- Excellent sales skills and customer focused – prepared to go that extra mile.
2. Intermediate sales support/processor
You will be helping our sales consultants with reservations, flights and ticketing, and documentation. You must have
- Travel and Tourism Diploma,
- Amadeus training
- Minimum 18 months travel reservation experience,
- Good English and maths skills.
3. Senior sales support/processor
Assisting the sales team with their bookings.
- Must have 5-6 years of wholesale travel reservation experience
- Experience with negotiating and loading nett rates contracting. This is a pivotal role in the Company.
- Experience with ticketing, published, private and nett fares
- A good working knowledge of Travelog, Serko or similar reservation system.
- Excellent command of the English language, good maths skills, patience, a focus on customer service and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability of work to deadlines and under pressure

Brief Job description
Dive Fish Snow Travel is both a wholesale and retail specialist travel company. You will be dealing with members of the public from all over NZ and Australia (and some from further afield), ski shops and travel agents. 60% of our clients are repeat clients. 20% are from word of mouth.
Sales consultant responsibilities:
- All communication with clients
- Sales quoting and Follow up
- Flight Reservations
- Planning the A - Z of the clients' itinerary
- Total responsibility to the client and their file
Sales support team responsibilities:
- Land reservations
- Ticketing, if required
- Accounts payments
- Documentation (checked by consultant)
