Snow Hosts
First time skiing Banff? Looking for a fun, friendly and informative way to learn about the resort, some local history and fun places to visit in the Banff area?
Join local mountain hosts on the slopes and make a few turns with one of the friendly Mountain Hosts! Leaving from the daylodge at each mountain resort mid morning and early afternoon the Mountain Hosts will split you into groups of similar ability and show you how to best get around the mountain.

Mountain Cafes
Mt Norquay
The 24,000 square foot Cascade Lodge is a two-storied Timber Frame building. Access to the lodge may be gained from either floor. Picture windows over the entire front of the lodge provide breathtaking views of the ski area and surrounding mountains from either floor, and the huge southwest-facing decks provide maximum exposure for sun lovers!
Lake Louise
The Lodge of the Ten Peaks
Expansive windows, hand skinned logs, vaulted ceilings & river rock fireplaces personify the “Rocky Mountain Atmosphere” which can be found at Lake Louise Mountain Resort. Wraparound decks offer unparalleled views of the base area. In this lodge alone are two restaurants, a cafeteria and a Starbucks coffee bar!
Whiskyjack Lodge
Step back in time by dining in the original daylodge at Lake Louise. Offering many of the same options as the LOTP cafeteria, Whiskyjack Lodge boasts bright windows and sunny decks for your eating pleasure.
Temple Lodge
Located on the backside, Temple Lodge offers rustic charm in a spectacular setting. A log building with large deck, Temple is the perfect place to enjoy a break from the slopes. Temple Lodge offers both a cafeteria and the rustic restaurant, Sawyers Nook.
Whitehorn Lodge
Whitehorn Lodge is home to the world famous Torchlight Dinners. Watch the sunset over out award winning scenery while feasting on an amazing buffet dinner. Live music will entertain you until you ride down by torchlight. Torchlight dinners are offered every Friday night – make sure to book early, space is limited!!!
Kokanee Kabin
Directly adjacent to the base of Glacier Chair, Kokanee Kabin is the perfect place to enjoy your après! Whether you are looking for a hot Starbucks coffee or a refreshing pint of beer, the Kokanee Kabin will be able to serve you. Live music creates the perfect atmosphere.
Ten Peaks Food Court
Burgers from the grill, French fries, baked potato, fresh salads, sandwiches and wraps, beverages, beers, Home baked muffins, foods from around the world. Something for everyone!
Cappuccino Bar
Cappuccino bar proudly serving Starbucks Coffee, all your Starbucks favourites are available as well as beer, cold beverages, and fresh baked goods.
Great Bear Room
Proudly offering an upscale dining experience in our newest outlet! Utilizing only the freshest and finest ingredients, Chef Michel Robert presents an unforgettable selection of both breakfast and lunch menu choices.
