Kids Facilities and Activities at Panorama

Taking a family vacation has never been easier.  With numerous activities to choose from, you won’t know what to do next.  The brand new 450’  / 137 metre Magic Carpet makes learning easy for beginners of all ages.  Older kids will love the terrain park on Showoff with features for all abilities.  For fun family activities, drop by Guest Services and organize your own mountain scavenger hunt.  Snake through the Secret Forest’s twisting trails just below the Champagne Express Quad, and discover Fort Hide-n-Seek, a mid-mountain fort and picnic area.  Lots of hide and seek opportunities make this a great place to kick off the skis and play awhile!  In the evening, bundle up for a horse-drawn wagon ride along the Toby Creek and enjoy a bowl of hearty chili, a mug of sumptuous hot chocolate, and sing songs around a blazing fire.

When Mum and Dad want to take on Taynton Bowl, have a relaxing massage, or enjoy a romantic soak in the Panorama Springs hot pool, there are tons of activities just for kids.  Conveniently located in the heart of the village, Wee Wascals Daycare provides a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the young ones entertained.  Enthusiastic and energetic caregivers make the day fun for children, who aren’t big enough yet to cruise the slopes! Games, crafts, storytelling, snacks, and new friends make the day pass in no time.  Children three to five years old will love the on-the-snow action they’ll get as a Snowbird!  The School of Skiing and Snowboarding Snowbird Program introduces kids to skiing in a safe and fun way.  For the slightly older, check out the Kids Adventure Club, where kids can learn and ride with friends while taking part in scavenger hunts and fun themes every day.  

In the evening, kids only programming includes “Kids Night Out” or “Kids in the Kitchen”, providing a fun evening of games, crafts, and movies for those between 5 & 12.   For younger children and infants, we can provide a list of babysitters for your convenience.

Night Skiing

On weekends, the Toby Chair is open for night skiing during select times of the season.  Riding is free with valid day lift ticket. 

Game Show Event

Trapper’s Cabin Sleigh Ride & Chili Cookout

Experience a magical sleigh ride in the clear mountain air as you travel through the snowy landscape along Toby Creek.  Complete your evening with a roaring bonfire, steaming mountain chili, hot chocolate, and marshmallow roasting.

Friends and Family Campfire

The warmth of a campfire and hot chocolate is the ultimate après experience.  Marshmallows and roasting sticks will be provided. 

Mountain Theatre

The “Big Screen” comes to Panorama; catch some of your favourite flicks in the Great Hall.

Scavenger Hunt

Drop by Guest Services and pick up a scavenger hunt.  Explore the village and have some fun while you search out the answers to our clues.

Kids in the Kitchen

Kids explore their culinary skills, baking and decorating a variety of treats to take home and share.
