We appreciate that most New Zealanders prefer not to travel in
groups, but interestingly enough, many of our clients do. We've
found that once a client travels with a group, they very seldom
travel alone again.
The main reasons why, year after year the same
people travel with the same tour leaders and group members is the FUN &
CAMERADERIE along with ambience and atmosphere . Hard
to put into words, but it's the friendships that develop between
like minded skiers, it's the fun of sharing the day's experiences
in the restaurant and bar after a great day on the slopes, it's
the knowledge gained from other people's experiences, it's the
chance to enjoy skiing by yourself or with friends and catch up
with other group members on the slopes, its the knowledge that
you can relax and enjoy the trip because the tour leader will deal
with the logistics.

Our Escorted Tours often have a theme so you'll be traveling with similar
like-minded skiers, such as family tours, seniors tours, boarders
and hostel tours etc. We always include some special events
and services for each group.
There are many other good reasons why Escorted Tour Travel has become
so popular:
- Escorted Tours often receive greater, free or more services
- Single people can share a room, thus greatly
reducing their costs
- Make new skiing friends
- Benefit from other skiers' expertise and experiences
- Tour leader has been there before so knows all the best places
to go, on and off the slopes, and will deal with any unexpected
hassles such as lost luggage, flight delays etc
- Tour leader is often an instructor and is happy to give group
members some casual lessons and advice if they want it - and
it's free!
- Transfers between mountains and airports are on a charter bus
at the time that best suits the group. This can give more time
on the slopes, and include stops at supermarkets or shopping
centers you wouldn't usually have a chance to visit.
Skiing ability : Don't think you need to be an
experienced skier to join a group. You don't! Yes, there are likely
to be experienced skiers in each group, but generally people break
up into smaller groups who ski at the same ability.
With a group, you can either "slope off" and do your own thing,
or join in the fun with other group members. It's your holiday,
so spend it as you want to, but a group will give you options you
wont have traveling alone.
So think about joining a Escorted Tour. You wont be disappointed. |
