Simon Bucherer

Simon has had extensive experience skiing in both Europe and Canada over the past 50 years.

He particularly enjoys the wide open ski areas of Canada as well as the fantastic snow conditions that prevail there.

He lead a tour to Big White & Silver Star in 2011 and is excited about taking another group to Sun Peaks & Big White in 2013.

He says these areas are so good for all levels of skier not just the experienced.

There are many Beginners slopes as well as intermediates to chose from at both resorts. The night life is fantastic and just the general conviviality of the locations leaves a lasting memory to enjoy later on.

Friday 11 January 2013

Depart Auckland to Vancouver with connecting flight to Kamloops. Coach Transfer on arrival from Kamloops to Sun Peaks Resort.
7 nights accommodation at Kookabura Lodge – 3 bedroom condo – multi share
Located across the street from Sun Peaks Village recreation centre, there is easy access to the main lifts. Globe Restaurant and Sun Peaks Spa are accessible with the same building.
3 Bedroom condo offers a private hot tub, full kitchen, electric fireplace, 3 bathrooms, TV/DVD, ski locker, washer/dryer, underground parking and internet access. Bedding consists of king and queen beds and a sofa bed.
6 Day Lift pass for Sun Peaks Resort

7nights accommodation at Big White Condominiums –The Eagles 3 or 4 bedroom condo – multi share.
Condos are privately owned and vary in location, décor, bedding and amenities. Condo contains kitchen, bathroom, separate living and dining areas, TV/VCR and telephone. Some have washer/dryers and fireplace. Bedding varies.
6 day lift pass for Big White and Silver Star resorts.
