Learn to love skiing and riding even more at Brighton, where it’s all about the snow, the grooming and the terrain.

With 4 high speed quad lifts you can access the terrain parks and great runs spread over  1,050 skiable acres / 425 hectares of fantastic snow.  At the base of the lifts you’ll find  an inviting day lodge, high quality rentals, top notch ski and snowboard school,  lockers, cafeterias and a pub. Add in frequent public bus transportation from Salt Lake City,  night skiing and riding, and free skiing and riding for kids 6 and under, and it all adds up to a great ski experience at Brighton.

The mountain averages 500” / 1270cm of snow each winter. Runs for every level of ability are accessed from the top of each lift  so families can ride the lifts together, peel off onto different  beginner, intermediate, or expert trails  and all meet at the bottom to ride the lift together again.

Most  trails are immaculately groomed, but there are also trees and chutes, cliffs and natural terrain parks all within bounds if you like white knuckle terrain!

Brighton Mountain Sports offers a variety of great outdoor clothing, gloves, helmets and goggles as well as Brighton logo items,  lip balm and sunscreen.

Snowboarding is not allowed at Alta: it is a skier's mountain.

Grooming

Brighton’s grooming is consistently top quality. Beginner runs are groomed nightly. Intermediate trails are groomed nightly, except for a few trails which are groomed as needed. And for the experts, main runs are groomed, but many are left ungroomed for those who like their powder deep and untouched. The grooming report is posted daily.
